A TOTAL STATION is a modern electronic/optical instrument mainly used by land surveyors, either to record features as in topographic surveying or to set out features (i.e. roads, houses or boundaries).

Real Time Kinematic (RTK) positioning is a satellite navigation technique used to enhance the precision of position data derived from satellite-based positioning systems. The basic concept behind RTK is that you have a base station receiver set (GNSS) on a known point somewhere around the project site.

Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) or drones are used for aerial survey, by way of acquiring several geographic data combined with aerial images which are grouped in geomatics.
